VEVOR electric polisher, stone polisher, 1.36 kg
€58.99
The VEVOR stone polisher 1.36 kg offers a little more capacity than the smallest VEVOR model, making it an interesting option for beginners who want to tumble more stones at a time. The machine features four speed settings, a timer of up to nine days, and comes with various accessories to get you started with the hobby.
VEVOR is a Chinese brand with attractively priced machines. We have not tested this model extensively ourselves, so we cannot make any firm statement about its service life. For regular or long-term use, you can also compare it with our TRM stone polishers.
Description
The VEVOR stone polisher 1.36 kg is an interesting choice for anyone wanting to start stone polishing, but who wants a little more capacity than the smallest VEVOR model. With a stated load capacity of up to 1.36 kg, this rock tumbler is suitable for small to medium batches of stones.
The machine has four adjustable speed settings and a digital timer that can be set for a runtime of up to nine days. This allows you to adjust the speed and duration of a grinding or polishing stage to suit the stones you are processing. The intuitive control panel makes setting it up easy.
Complete set with stones and polishing grit
VEVOR supplies this version as a complete starter set. In addition to the stone polisher, rough gemstones and various polishing grits are also included. This means you can get started almost immediately and do not have to buy all the necessary supplies separately for an initial introduction to the hobby.
According to VEVOR, the design also takes into account relatively quiet operation, precise control and multiple safety features. These are welcome qualities in a stone polisher that runs for several consecutive days during a normal grinding phase.
Four speeds and timer up to nine days
The option to choose from four speed settings gives this VEVOR more adjustment options than many basic rock tumblers with a fixed rotation speed. Together with the timer of up to nine days, you can set the tumbling process quite precisely.
The machine is designed for sequential grinding, refining and polishing of stones. By using progressively finer grinding and polishing media, rough stones can be finished step by step into smooth, shiny stones.
Compact size
Despite its 1.36 kg capacity, the machine remains fairly compact. The base of the unit measures approximately 22 × 18 × 12.2 cm. Including the barrel, the total height is approximately 25 cm. The net weight of the complete machine is approximately 3.25 kg.
Technical specifications
Many features at an attractive price
VEVOR is a Chinese brand that offers a wide range of machines and tools at competitive prices. On paper, this stone polisher offers quite a lot for its price range: a generous barrel, several speeds, a multi-day timer and a complete starter set.
Rocktumbler.nl however, we have not tested this specific machine in continuous use for years. We therefore cannot say from our own experience how the motor, electronics, barrel and other components will hold up after many years of intensive use. That does not mean the machine has to be inferior, but we think it is important to make that distinction clear.
VEVOR or a traditional stone polisher?
If you want to get acquainted with stone polishing at an attractive price and are drawn to electronic controls, this VEVOR is definitely worth a look.
If you plan to use the machine often and for long periods, and you prefer a more traditionally built stone polisher, compare this model with the TRM-1A German stone polisher and the dual TRM-2A stone polisher.
